Description of Elective Experience:
At LVA (Livestock Veterinary Associates) student will be involved with activities supporting reproductive technology in small rruminants and bovine. Students may actively manage anesthesiology during caprine and ovine procedures.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Students should be available during regular work hours Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 Central Time. They are also welcome to join any emergency events which occur after hours or on holidays. Students will be shadowing reproductive procedures and also managing certain anesthesia procedures while the reproductive work is occurring.

A bed bath and kitchen is provided free of charge, if available for students while they are here at StockVets.
