Description of Elective Experience:
Small Ruminant Reproductive technology. Includes sheep and goat embryo transfer and laparoscopic artificial insemination. Also bovine in vitro fertilization ovum pick up and conventional flushing in and embryo transfer.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Students will be present during reproductive procedures. They can observe all activities as well as be responsible for injectable and inhalation anesthesia.
