Student(s) will experience the typical caseload of a mixed animal general practice, with emphasis on small animal cases. Student(s) will be expected to gather histories, complete physical exams, develop diganostic and therapeutic plans, assist in managing hospitalized patients, and communicate with clients. Student(s) will also have the opportuity to scrub in and assist in surgical procedures as well as perform routine surgeries/procedures under the supervision of the DVM. Emergencies are seen on a routine basis and student(s) may be expected to be available when needed.
Staffing: one DVM and two registered veterinary technicians
Student will be working Monday-Saturday (40 hour week). Student will shadow and provide support.
