Description of Elective Experience:
I own a six doctor hospital that has been serving the community for over twenty years. We service small animals, exotics and wildlife.

Pet Vet is a six doctor veterinary hospital, open seven days a week, We provide a full service facility, state of the art, and the highest quality medicine and surgery. We see a large case load of exotics and wildlife. We have over 35 employees and licensed technicians. We have ultrasound, digital radiology, dental suite, orthopedics......
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
The student will go on rounds with the veterinarians, assist in seeing clients, surgery, emergencies, management and the daily routine of a veterinarian and technical staff.
