Description of Elective Experience:
General practice with medical and surgical experience with companion animals, pocket pets- bunnies/guinea pigs/ferrets/hamsters/etc, reptiles- turtles/lizards, exotics- sugar gliders/avian
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Global fast trained ultrasonography, digital xray, surgical laser
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
40hr/week, 4 day work week, anticipate actual support with any/all cases/surgeries the student is comfortable with. Want student to gain as much experience as possible.
