Description of Elective Experience:
Final year student will be involved with day-to-day clinic life. Duties will include thorough history taking, restraint of patients, physical examinations and assisting for procedures.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
In-House laboratory equipment including microscope, cbc/chem machines, clotting time reader.
Digital radiology - including dental.
Accupuncture/Cold Laser therapy/K-tape/Eastern medicine including Chinese herbs
Surgical - electrocautery
Working with LVT & Assistant. Also working with non-profit groups and dealing with real life situtations, such as client not having funds for services.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
