Description of Elective Experience:
Noah's Ark has a long history of hosting OSU students. We offer practical "hands on" and immersive experience in our small animal practices.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Noah's Ark boasts 4 full-service hospitals in Greater Cincinnati. We have 25 full-time DVMs and over 120 support staff. We are modern state of the art practices with digital radiology, fully computerized medical records, ultrasound, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Students will be paired with an on-site mentor DVM to ensure they have the best experience possible and learn as much as possible. 40 hours a week.
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
We pay for an AIRBNB for students while they are with us.
