Description of Elective Experience:
Food animal, predominantly dairy cattle medicine and surgery - Entirely ambulatory
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Two veterinarians and office staff
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Assist in performing preventative medicine, herd checks, sick calls and emergencies - Week days and weekends - 40 - 60 hours per week
