Description of Elective Experience:
Mixed animal private practice. With canine reproductive services and traveling internist and cardiologist. Farm call appointments most days in afternoon. Emergency services after hours.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Full week of externship includes 4 morning of surgery/ dental experience. Afternoons are filled with routine appointments or farm calls. On call emergency after hrs with doctor on call. Internal medicine, cardiology and reproduction sprinkled in.
