Description of Elective Experience:
Extern will work with a surgeon daily to assist in sports medicine, surgery, ERs or internal medicine cases
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
3 DR, 4 ultrasounds, 1 MRI, 2 dental power floats, multiple PRP, IRAP, Extensive surgical equipment, 2 surgical suits, 60 stalls 3 isolation stalls
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Assist with lameness, surgery and treatments. Assist with working up ER cases at night.
