Description of Elective Experience:
Students have the opportuinty to rotate thru internal medicine, oncology and surgery as well as our critical care and general practice.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Boarded surgeon / 2 Boarded Internal Medicine Specialists and a Boarded Oncologist We are a 24 hour referral and emergency hospital.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Per your requirements -- observation, participation in DVM rounds, restraining animals and assissting both the doctors and technicians
