Pasadena Pets Hospital is a general veterinary hospital which practices high standard, high quality veterinary medicine. We are fully digital practice that offers paperless records.
We are a 3 doctor practice (all internt trained) with 5 RVT technicians and 14 supportive (front staff and veterinary assistants). We have the latest equipement which includes digital radigraphy, digital dental radiography, otoscopy/rhinoscopy, cryosurgery, diamond corneal burr, ultrasound machine, etc...
The students will be able to delve into the general veterinary practice that will include working up cases, setting up a treatment plans and discussing cases. The student will be responsible to prepare to discuss 2 cases per week in detail (which may include diabetes, cushings, Addisons, renal failure, heart failure, etc...). We will offer either 5 day - 8 hrs shifts with 1 hr lunch or 4 days 10 hr shifts with 1 hr lunch. The student will be able to scrub in for surgeries as an assistant. We will work with the student to allow them to make sure the scheduling works both for the hospital and the student.
Housing is a responsibility of the student and no housing is provided for the student.
