Description of Elective Experience:
Students work with their assigned doctor to reach their experience goals, students are expected to come ready to learn with objectives and questions for the doctors and specialists
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
State of the art facility with MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, radiology, specialists on staff and a large number of technicians/support staff
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Students will shadow the doctor schedule - depending on service being worked with this could either be 3 12-14 hour shifts a week on ER or 4 10 hour shifts with specialty departments, the students will be able to assist in the work-up and medical record
