We are a 4 veterinarian mixed practice providing services in medicine and surgery. We also provide reproductive services for the canine, bovine, and equine including AI, freezing and storing canine and bovine semen, shipping fresh semen from the stud, and bovine embryo transfer.
Our staff consists of 4 full time Veterinarians, 2 full time and 2 part time receptionists, a practice manager, 3 licensed Veterinary technicians, and 2 full time kennel staff . We are equipped with 3 mobile practice vehicles, in house and portable ultrasound units for use in production and equine practice, portable and in house digital x-ray units, in house blood analyzers, EKG equipment, and equipment needed for freezing and storing semen. We have boarding facilities to handle up to 40 boarders. Our practice software is Avimark.
Ms Johnston will be exposed to all aspects of our practice and will be expected to participate in anything we do. She will be afforded the opportunity to perform any service we provide. She well interact with clients including gathering of information, making recommendations, and following up on progress of patients. This will all be done under the direct supervision of one of our Veterinarians. Our office hours are 8am to 5:30pm M-F and 8am to noon on Saturday. We provide after hour services for our clients and refer our non clints to a local after hour facility. Our services to livestock clients require that we start at 6:30 am because of the travel time necessary. Ms Johnson will be expected to be onsite during normal office ours and available after hrs for emergency services.
Ms Johnson is from this area and my understanding is she will be living at her home during her externship with us.
