Description of Elective Experience:
Shadow our 5 doctors, follow cases, shadow in surgery, practice basic skills (intubation, catheters, exams, diagnostic evaluatino)
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
ultrasound, x ray, in house lab, dentals, surgical suite, etc.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
ask questions, share input, be engaged! 4-5 days a week for 8-10 hours a day. schedule is based on student and clinic availability and predetermined before externship begins
