Description of Elective Experience:
Student will have an opportunity to shadow and participate with all sick and wellness exams and treatments, surgery and dental care, ultrasounds, etc.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We are a fully staffed hospital of 50+ employees. We offer all types of surgeries, x-rays, ultrasounds, echocardiogram, dentistry, sick and wellness exams and treatments.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
The student will work along side both our medical director and assistant medical director, approximately 35-40 hours per week. The student will do both shadowing and actual support as long as the student is confident and able.
