Description of Elective Experience: 

Proctoville Animal Clinic is a full-service small animal veterinary hospital in Proctorville, Ohio. In addition to traditional veterinary service, this clinic also sees a growing client base of exotics, and provides emergency services. Proctorville Animal Clinic is also a registered Cat Friendly Practice, which is a certification program run by the American Association of Feline Practitioners. 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.: 

Proctorville Animal Clinic is a full-service small animal clinic with four full-time veterinarians. Services include surgery, ultrasound, and dental, along with other traditional veterinary services.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?: 

Student responsibilities are at the discretion of the supervising clinician. Students should expect to work at least 40 hours a week, with additional on-call time possible.
