Rancocas Veterinary Associates, NJ

Description of Elective Experience:

There are two office locations- a small animal office in Mount Holly, NJ and a large animal facility a mile up the road in Eastampton, NJ. A third location is opening in Tuckerton, NJ in the Fall of 2019. We see a highly varied multi-species caseload with about 60% small animal and 40% large animal/equine. The vast majority of our large animal caseload is pet/backyard farm livestock vs. production animals. Students are invited to shadow with large and small animal appointments, round on cases with the veterinarians, may be asked to assist in surgery, and have some opportunities to work with our contract shelter. We try to cater a students experience to their individual interest.
