Description of Elective Experience:
Shadowing the doctors of Rivergate Veterinary Clinic through their appointments, diagnostics, and surgery.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
3 DVMs on staff.
Digital X-ray & ultrasound
Cold laser therapy
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Hospital Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am-6:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am-8:00pm Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm Closed Sundays and major holidays.
Student will coordinate to determine their own hours.
