Description of Elective Experience:
Students will experience the day to day operations of a small animal hospital. The student will take part in daily appointments,surgeries and business experiences.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Board certified veterinary technicians, digital radiography, in house cytology.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
The student will be working with the owner/veterinarian from 7am to 4 pm Monday to Friday and will be on call 24 7 for emergencies.
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
There is a bedroom,bathroom and kitchen available at the hospital for the student. It is not pet friendly.
