Description of Elective Experience:
We are a high volume spay neuter clinic. The student will have the opportunity to hone their surgical skills with hands-on practice in the presence of a licensed veterinarian.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Our expectation of the student is for them to be courteous and eager to learn. That they respect and follow the guidance of the veterinarian on staff and participate in surgeries as they feel the confidence to do so.
