We are a non corporate busy private practice that does general medicine and surgery. We average 4-7 surgeries a day. We do any surgery except extensive orthopedic or thoracic sx. These include Fb’s, anastemosis/resection, splenectomy, liver lobectomy, cystotomy, amputations, mastectomies, lumpectomies, entropion, enucleations as well as spays and neuters.
We are a 2 Dr practice with 6 exam rooms. Dr Weaver is a clinical Externship site advisor with Lincoln Memorial Vet College. We have 4 technicians. We have Idexx procyte, 3 catalyst machines, sedivue urine analyzer 2 anesthetic machines with pulseox. Sx. suite w prep tables. Figi U/S unit , zoetis vetscan unit and digital x ray.
Students are encouraged to assist with any and all office visits, medical cases and surgeries depending on skills and abilities.
Students are only ask to be present when we are open. If they are stay in house, they may be asked but not required to do evening checks on patients from time to time.
A fully furnished room with kitchen and W/D is available at no cost.
