Description of Elective Experience:
Student will go along and help with the LA Drs for routine and emergency farm calls. Students will observe and help the SA Drs with routine, emergency, and surgical procedures; also will assist the techs as needed.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We have several senior Drs on staff, and alot of computer and paper resources available at the hospital.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
We would expect student to be here on the same schedule as our Drs,they rotate between daytime, evening and overnight schedules. We work weekdays and have 2 Drs on over every weekend as we are an 24 hour emergency facility.

We have 2 bedrooms with a restroom and kitchen availabe for use by the student.
