The student will be exposed to all aspects of a 24/7 general practice. Our 8 doctors and 13 registered techs provide high quality medicine and surgery. In additon we offer day care, physical rehab, boarding and grooming. We expect to expose students to all aspects of our busy practice. We will make an effort to allow them to do minor surgeries and work in the exam room. In addition I hope to expose students to the realities of the veterinary business.
AAHA certified and inspected 16,000sq ft building, Gold standard cat friendly practice. 35 fear free certified staff, large in hospital lab, two dental tables with digital rads, Fugi digital radiology, two dedicated sterile surgical suites, therapeutic and surgical laser, ultrasound, video otoscope. 24/7 staffing, offering emergency service, 8 doctors, 13 registered tech total staff of 68.
The first week, students will work all our regular hours, including treatments on Sunday. Students will be off on Wednesday, as well as Sunday afternoon. The second week, students will be off monday until noon then come in and work 12-12 taking emergency calls and doing evening treatments. Tuesday the student will start at 11 am and work until close Tuesday through Saturday.
