Description of Elective Experience:
The student would be exposed to a busy mixed animal practice in a busy rural town in South Georgia. We are primarily small animal and equine. We have ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, plating equipment, and reproduction services available that we feel makes us stand out from other small town general practices.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We have 6 licensed technicians on staff here and 6 full time veterinarians that the student will interact.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
We are open from 7:30-5:30 each weekday and 9-12 on Saturdays. The student can discuss actual time availability with us directly.
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
A bedroom and bathroom are available at the clinic. There is a small kitchen with toaster over, microwave and fridge available.
