At Thrive Pet Healthcare, we currently offer 60 externship experiences, 14 internship programs, and eight residency programs in hospitals across the US. Each program is built around our core value of people-first practice – a novel approach within our industry. Our hands-on mentors are here to support you both academically and personally as you begin your journey into clinic life. Through our externships, you will gain close professional connections within our expansive network of doctors and staff. Staffing at Wedgewood includes a medical director, associate veterinarian, several assistants and two customer service representatives. 

Fully equipt with the latest dentistry, surgery ,dermatology, smart microchips, in house lab machines, and primary care supplies

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?: 

Student is given shadowing and active participation within cases for a five day a week, Monday through Friday,  9-10 hour shift.
