The VCA WLA Rotating Externship is set up so that you will rotate through multiple different services, attend patient rounds, attend didactic rounds, and interact with current house officers and senior clinicians. The services available for direct rotations include: Emergency, Critical Care, Neurology, Oncology, ZooMed, Dentistry, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and direct time with our on-site social worker (LCSW), current interns, and residents.

Didactic and patient rounds daily. Intermittent hands-on training during the day per service in addition to case discussions, client communications, and diagnostic interpretation.
