Description of Elective Experience:
There will be no formal didactic teaching but case based with physical examinations, interaction with pets, doctors at multiple locations and a high surgical case load.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Full service hospitals with nearly all surgical equipment necessary for a referral practice.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
There will be scrubbing in with surgery and involved with cases but no actual case responsibility.
