Description of Elective Experience:
Our practice provides opportunities in all fields of veterinary medicine. We have a small animal clinic, perform large animal farm calls and run a thoroughbred racetrack practice.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We provide at least one tech per doctor and most of the time two. We are a 4 veterinarian practice with close to 20 support staff. Fully equipped small and large animal practice.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
We can provide as many hours as the student wants in the field they wish to learn at. We have provide teaching to the students in the field they choose due to the number of vets and staff we have.
