Description of Elective Experience:
Mixed large animal practice (60% equine, 30% bovine, 10% other ). Medical, surgical cases of large animal species. 100% ambulatory.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscope, breeding soundness equipment, power floats.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Student expected to participate 9-5 with emergency hours as needed. The student will be responsible for completion of didactic material. The student will also be expected to participate in medical and surgical care of patients.
