Description of Elective Experience:
Mixed animal practice. Mostly cattle & equine, with some caprine, camelids, etc...
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Six veterinarians on staff, of which 3 are large animal, and three small animal.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Monday - Friday: be at office by 8am. Dress for the weather. Scrubs or coveralls are suffient. Waterproof barn boots. Have a change of clothes & clean shoes with you daily, in the event that you are in the office for small animal.
