Description of Elective Experience:
There will be opportunity to perform reproductive palpation and ultrasound in cattle. There will be opportunity to assist with surgeries and supportive treatment on farm. There will be opportunity to assist with bovine embryo collection, ovum pick up and embryo transfer.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
We would expect the students to be present with one of the doctors as long as there are calls to be made. For emergency duty, those calls are optional.
