Student will initially shadow current veterinary doctors and staff with the intent to increase student involvement in all areas of patient care moving forward as allowed by law. These may include: assisting in surgeries, perform dental cleanings, execute blood draws, anesthetize and/or intubate patients, administer vaccines and/or injections in the course of an appointment, initiate or assist in treatment of sick patients.
We have 1 RVT on staff with 20+ years of experience and 2 others who are currently working toward their RVT license/certification. We have a full range of IDEXX in-house lab equipment: Catalyst, Procyte Analyzer and Sedivue Analyzer. We've also added in the past 5 years digital imaging which can be saved in the patient's "results" tab in our practice software. Idexx Neo
