All Creature Features Animal Hospital is a five doctor AAHA accredited small animal veterinary clinic.  We have a busy daily caseload which will provide a veterinary extern a good opportunity to gain a lot of exposure to daily veterinary practice. The extern will be allowed to assist the veterinarians with appointments, surgeries, and medical workups.  During appointments the extern will be given the opportunity to interact with clients, perform examinations, and begin a medical workup for the case.  We schedule surgeries ever day, Monday through Friday,  and can easily provide the extern with adequate surgical opportunity.  On difficult cases our veterinarians work together as a team and we would gladly welcone input from a senior veterinary student.  We promote thorough exams and workups with sick patients.  Also, we promote yearly wellness exams to try to identify problems that may be subclinical.  We feel that an externship in our practice would prove to be a very rewarding experience.
