We are a four doctor mixed animal practice in Wayne County, Ohio. A significant portion of the practice is bovine reproduction and herd health work. In addition, we also work routinely with equine, goats, sheep and alpacas and typically have 3 of the 4 veterinarians working out of their mobile units on farm visits. The practice generally encompasses three counties with much of the mobile services being large dairy farms and then also the backyard client. Typically, the fourth veterinarian is scheduled in the office serving the companion animal needs of the practice. The clinic is located in West Salem, Ohio and serves many of the rural as well as the local Amish communities in the area. As a student, you will be observing and participating where appropriate with the numerous responsibilities of the veterinarian that you are scheduled to shadow for the day - working with both the large and small veterinarians throughout the course of your experience with us.
