Description of Elective Experience:

Ethos Veterinary Health (EVH) is a network of 25 emergency and specialty hospitals located across the US. Within EVH is Ethos Science Consultancy, a vertical service that functions as a contract research organization. In addition to Science Consultancy there is also Ethos Discovery, a 501(c)(3) non-profit scientific incubator through which we do our own de novo studies. The studies through Discovery are designed to result in novel diagnostics and therapeutics with planned commercialization within the veterinary market while also providing translational value to research in human medicine. Through this externship, we will be providing experience in both of these organizations. The extern will be expected to familiarize themselves with our ongoing and planned trials, the process behind the selection and design of the trials, and the commercialization efforts that are pursued.
